Terms of Service
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Draft template — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Since customers are U.S.-based, this should be reviewed by counsel familiar with the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable U.S. state privacy laws before this product accepts real users.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of screenmyfeed.com and related services (the “Service”), operated by WeCreate Ltd. (company number 305775033), a company registered in Tel Aviv, Israel (“ScreenMyFeed,” “we,” “us”). The Service is offered to users located in the United States. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
ScreenMyFeed runs an automated scan of publicly available content on social media profiles and web pages that you submit, and generates a report scoring that content against common categories used by employer background-screening vendors (e.g. offensive language, violence, substance use, political content).
ScreenMyFeed is not a Consumer Reporting Agency, and reports generated by the Service are not “consumer reports” under the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or equivalent laws elsewhere. You must not use, rely on, or provide a ScreenMyFeed report to any third party for use in decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA or similar law. ScreenMyFeed disclaims all liability arising from any such use.
2. Accuracy and limitations
Scan results are generated using automated data retrieval and a rules-based content classifier. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. In particular:
- Some content — especially private profiles, deleted posts, or platforms with strong anti-automation protections — may not be retrievable, and its absence from your report does not mean it doesn't exist.
- Category classification is automated and may misclassify content, miss context (sarcasm, quotation, reclaimed language), or flag content that a human reviewer would not.
- Results depend on third-party platforms and data-collection infrastructure that we do not control and that may change or become unavailable without notice.
You should not treat a ScreenMyFeed report as a complete or guaranteed picture of what any third party could find about you.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you create an account (via Google sign-in or email/password through Firebase Authentication), you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will only submit, for scanning:
- Social media profile links that belong to you, or
- Profile links you are otherwise expressly authorized by the account owner to submit.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to compile information about another person without their knowledge or consent (except as permitted above).
- Use the Service, or any report it generates, as a factor in any employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similar decision about yourself or anyone else.
- Attempt to circumvent, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Fees and payment
Some features of the Service (such as the full Social Screening Report) may require payment. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Polar.sh; by making a purchase, you also agree to Polar's applicable terms. We do not store your full payment card details. Prices, included features, and any promotional or beta pricing may change at any time; the price you pay is the price shown to you at the time of purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, purchases are non-refundable once the report has been generated.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by ScreenMyFeed and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the information you submit. You grant us a limited license to use that information solely to operate and provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL REPORTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY REPORT WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCREENMYFEED AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY REPORT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR 100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ScreenMyFeed harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights — including, without limitation, submitting another person's social media profile for scanning without authorization, or using a report for an FCRA-covered purpose.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service or request deletion of your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel — except where applicable U.S. consumer-protection law requires a different forum.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
